A young smoky-black vixen raised her small nose to the air, searching for something she couldn't quite find. She was in a rush, this fact was visible by her quickened actions and her normally scattered attention focused on one particular thing on her mind at the moment. With a flick of her azure-tipped ears, she sensed that she wasn't quite the only living being around, but she ignored this paranoia and moved on. Waving her cyan-streaked tails with every bounce of her step, she darted from tree to shadowy tree as the sun broke through the pale morning frost that caked her colorless whiskers, frost she failed to feel on her fur. It was ungodly early, but she couldn't rest now, not until her investigation was solved. She jumped into a tree and stuffed her nose into a bundle of leaves, hoping for a scent…whined in defeat when she found no scent. She wanted that scent to waft into her nostrils and lead her to the object in question; rather, the being she was searching for…Though how hard she wished he would be around, where would he be? Not awake at this hour. Still, she hopped out of her tree and sank to the ground, resting her back against the trunk, attempting to rest mentally to continue with her search. She found herself beginning to nod off as the sun crawled slowly into the sky, nudging her eyelids closed while she fought to keep them open...
